Kunstmanagerin

Brigitte Seiler ist seit 2009 Privatier und beschäftigt sich seit dieser Zeit intensiv mit dem Kunstmarkt. Seit 2014 verfügt sie darüber hinaus über den Abschluss zur Kunstmanagerin.

Vor 1994 war Brigitte Seiler 15 Jahre als Beamtin bei der Deutschen Telekom beschäftigt. Von 1994 bis 2008 übernahm sie die kaufmännische Leitung der Firma Fliesen Seiler in Wörth. In dieser Funktion war sie u.a. für das Personal- und Ausbildungsmanagement, die strategische und vertriebliche Ausrichtung, die Buchhaltung sowie die Unternehmensentwicklung zuständig. Nach dem erfolgreichen Verkauf des Unternehmens konnte sich Brigitte Seiler in langen Studienreisen ein großes Kunstverständnis aneignen. 2013 gründete sie die Galerie Brigitte Seiler und organisierte seither diverse Ausstellungen; darunter „Die kleine Galerie Miltenberg“ und „Löwhausgalerie Klingenberg“. Sie ist Gründungsmitglied des KUNSTRAUM.miltenberg e.V. und war von 2015 bis 2018 1. Vorsitzende des nunmehr in KUNSTRAUM in Churfranken e.V. umbenannten und in die Altstadt von Klingenberg am Main umgezogenen Vereins.

RITA STERN
Illustratorin, zeitgenössische Künstlerin und Kunstmanagerin

Rita Stern ist seit 2012 deutschland- und österreichweit als Illustratorin und zeitgenössische Künstlerin aktiv. Als Kunstmanagerin betreut sie darüber hinaus ausgewählte Künstler hinsichtlich Verkauf und Vermarktung sowie der Durchführung von Ausstellungen und Messen.

Aus einer österreichischen Künstlerfamilie stammend hat Rita Stern Kunst in die Wiege gelegt bekommen. Zur allgemeinen Überraschung begann sie ihren Werdegang jedoch in der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche. Zwischen 2000 und 2012 arbeitete sie im Client Relationship & Sales, führte die Reklamationsabteilung und übernahm innerhalb kürzester Zeit die Betreuung von Vertriebspartner der Epicon Financial Services GmbH in Wien. Durch die Übernahme der Firma C-QUADRAT Investment AG in 2005, nahm Rita Stern die ihr gebotene Herausforderung an, als Vertriebsdirektorin der C-QUADRAT Investment AG in Frankfurt am Main den Maklervertrieb auf- und auszubauen.

In 2012 entschloss sie sich dazu ihrer Berufung zu folgen und sich hauptberuflich der von ihr geliebten Kunst zu widmen. Mit den vielfältigen Fähigkeiten, die sie in der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche erlernt hatte, eröffnete sie eine eigene Kunstgalerie und begann regionale und internationale Künstler aktiv zu fördern, während sie immer noch viel Zeit für ihre eigene kreative Arbeit – Illustration von Büchern und Broschüren sowie ihre eigenen Kunstserien – aufbrachte. Sie gründete die Kunstmanagementfirma Rita Stern Art & Art Couture, wurde zum „Fellow“ der deutschen Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Berlin ernannt und war – wie Brigitte Seiler – als Gründungsmitglied des Kunstraum Miltenberg e.V. aktiv als Förderer regionaler Künstler engagiert.

BRIGITTE SEILER

The independantly self-employed businesswoman, Brigitte Seiler, has been intensively involved in the art world since 2009. In 2014, she additionally qualified as an Art Manager, a course of studies which encompasses Art History and Techniques, the organisation of Art Fairs and Exhibitions and a host of other subjects essential to a woman of her career aspirations in the World of Art.

Until 1994 she was employed with civil servant status by the German Telekom, when she took the commercial reins at the firm Fliesen Seiler, in Wörth. In this capacity, she was responsible for HR and Training, Sales, Bookkeeping, as well as the overall company strategy and development.

After the profitable sale of the company, she then undertook a series of extended educational trips, in which she was able to expand her knowledge and appreciation of art. In 2013 she founded the Galerie Brigitte Seiler, and organised numerous exhibitions, for example “die kleine Galerie Miltenberg”  and “Löwhausgalerie Klingenberg”. She is a founder member of Kunstraum Miltenberg eV, and was from 2015 to 2018 the 1stChairperson of the society, which was subsequently renamed Kunstraum in Kurfranken eV, and resettled in the old town centre of Klingenberg am Main

RITA STERN

Rita Stern’s heart and soul has been completely dedicated to the world of art in both Germany and Austria since 2012, both actively as an illustrator and contemporary artist and also as an art manager.

The progeny of an Austrian artist family, Rita has art in her veins. But to everyone’s surprise, she began her professional life in the world of business and finance.  Between 2000 and 2012, she was very active in the world of finance, with an efficiency and competence which soon had her climbing high on the career ladder. She began in the Customer Service and Sales Dept of Epicon Financial Services GmbH in Vienna, where she within a very short time took over support of all the company‘s sales partners. After the acquisition by C-Quadrat Investment AG, she accepted the challenge of expanding the firm‘s Sales, Marketing and Distribution in Frankfurt am Main.

All this time, in spite of all her successes she had never given up her beloved art. She continued tirelessly to illustrate books and broshures, to paint her one art-series and especially to organise countless exhibitions. In 2012, she finally decided to answer her calling and devote her talents and energy solely to art. Using the array of skills she’d learned in business and finance, she opened her own art gallery, and began actively promoting many regional and international artists, while still devoting a considerable amount of time to her own creative work. She founded the Art Management firm Rita Stern Art & Art Couture, was named a „Fellow“ in the German Culture and Creativity Industries Berlin and was – as Brigitte Seiler – as a founder member of Kunstraum Miltenberg e.V. actively involved as a promoter of regional artists.
